What is mastitis?

Mastitis is the primary disease in dairy cows.
- Breast infection
- Clinical or subclinical
- Generally: bacterial (E. Coli, Staph. aureus, Stept. Uberis, etc.)
- Treatment: antibiotics +/- Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)
