A breakthrough in cardiology, the new product consists of an iPhone moni- tor capable of producing a reliable and readable ECG for all animal species in just a few minutes. Independent vet- erinarians, specialists and veterinary school professors are all big fans of this eminently practical new tool. The inno- vation is now being distributed through- out Europe, including in Belgium, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Po- land, the United Kingdom and Ireland. AUGUST Equistro ® , official supplier to the French teams at the World Equestrian Games The World Equestrian Games took place from 23 August to 7 September 2014 in Normandy inFrance. Amajorevent in the equestrian world, it drew over 500,000 international visitors, 1,000 competitors from 72 countries, and 350 exhibitors. An official supplier to the French teams through its Equine range, Vetoquinol worked with veterinarians to develop an “Equistro ® Menu” for each horse. On the sporting side, the Team Equistro ® riders won six medals, including the title of Reserve World Champion in the individual show jumping event for Patrice Delaveau. OCTOBER Launch of the Vetoquinol Care range Galvanised by its North American ex- perience and with a view to better re- sponding to the needs of pets and their owners, in October 2014 Vetoquinol launched a range of care products called “Vetoquinol Care”. The international range comprises nu- traceutical specialities in the forms of gels, omega 3-6 capsules and milks for puppies and kittens. The range will be expanded in the future (based on the American range model) to include teeth and skin health products. Vetoquinol Care helps veterinarians to FEBRUARY - JULY - OCTOBER Successful launch of Forcyl ® in Brazil The world’s number-two animal health market, Brazil is home to the world’s largest population of cattle and fourth-largest population of pigs. So it was natural for the Group to launch its anti-infectious drug Forcyl ® in the country. Marketing authorisation was obtained in late February for cattle. The pre-launch was organised in mid-July in southern Brazil, a region with strong potential for Forcyl ® , at Agroleite, the dairy sector’s largest industry fair. Forcyl ® Swine was launched in late October at the sector’s biggest show, Pork Expo. The sales objectives were rapidly outstripped!
