Engaged by our future 18 ENGAGED BY OUR FUTURE 2014 GAÏA INDEX: RECOGNITION FOR THE CSR POLICY In the sixth Gaïa Index campaign, in 2014, the Vetoquinol group ranked num- ber one among companies with annual revenues of 150 to 500 M € and number four in the manufacturing sector. Gaïa Index is a socially responsible invest- ment (SRI) index for mid-caps estab- lished by Ethifinance with the support of SFAF (French society of financial an- alysts) and MiddleNext. It distinguishes the companies esteemed as having the most transparent and advanced CSR policies. ROBUIST GOVERNANCE FOR LASTING SUCCESS Vetoquinol’s successful initial public offering in 2006 brought it international awareness, which has become a real asset. The Group’s policy on financial and market information aims to fully respect the “best information practices” recognised officially by finance professionals. That determination was rewarded by the 2014 Gaïa Index award. This award acknowledges our socially responsible commitment. It also reflects our desire for financial and non- financial transparency Matthieu Frechin Board of Directors The Group has committed to a transpar- ent and demanding corporate govern- ance system based on the MiddleNext corporate governance code of listed companies. The Board of Directors comprises eight members, two of whom are independ- ent directors. The Board is chaired by Etienne Frechin, who was responsible for the operational management of the Executive Committee The Executive Committee, the unique management body, is chaired by Mat- thieu Frechin, Chief Executive Officer of Vetoquinol. It is responsible for the operational management of the Group and is assisted by eight members. The Executive Committee meets every month. Vetoquinol group for over thirty years. The Audit, Remuneration and Strategy Committees work to supplement the information of the Board members. The Board of Directors meets as often as the interests of the company require, and at least four times a year. It undertakes all the actions necessary to the implementation of strategy. It is tasked with enhancing the value of the Group’s human resources.
