Editorial by Matthieu Frechin (Managing Director)
For several decades now, Vetoquinol has sought to promote a culture of ethics, transparency and compliance both at the individual and collective level.
I share with all of the Group's employees one ambition: that of placing our activities in a framework conducive to compliance with professional and ethical standards, wherever we operate.
This ambition cannot be achieved without the active participation of each of you. I can only highlight the initiatives in this direction and I could give as example the program for the prevention and detection of acts of corruption, the implementation of a risk identification and management policy and many more.
A number of tools are made available to inspire our choices and guide our daily actions. This concerns in particular the Anti-Corruption Code of Conduct, the Code of Ethics, the Gift Policy...
I strongly encourage you to read all of these documents and refer to them whenever you have any doubts or questions on ethical matters. You can also address your questions to our Group Legal and Compliance Expert (email@example.com).
It is up to each of us, in the execution of our duties, to embody a culture of integrity in order to uphold Vetoquinol's commitments in terms of ethics and social and environmental responsibility.
You will easily understand that we cannot tolerate any behavior or act that would defeat our integrity goals.
This is how we will accomplish even more together and help ensure the long-term development of our laboratory.

Vetoquinol wanted to support its employees by offering them a Code of Ethics in which the standards of ethical behavior expected by Vetoquinol are defined.

Anti-corruption code of conduct
Vetoquinol has adopted an anti-corruption code of conduct which aims to strengthen the Group's instruments and practices with regards to ethics and social responsibility.
Like several companies listed in France, Vetoquinol has adopted the "Middlenext" anti-corruption code of conduct. Middlenext is an independent association which exclusively represent medium-sized listed companies.
Vetoquinol contributed within Middlenext to the work group which drafted this anti-corruption code of conduct.
“This anti-corruption code of conduct is a way of reaffirming the Group's commitments in this area and contributing to its sustainable development” explains Matthieu Frechin, Chief Executive Officer.
This document guides the daily actions and behaviors of each Group employee around the world. Employees and corporate officers undertake to comply with the rules contained in this code of conduct, regardless of the place and nature of their work.

The Gifts policy complements the Anti-corruption Code of Conduct and is intended to give each employee information on the attitudes to adopt with regard to gifts and invitations.
